Reichle & De-Massari AG (R&M) is an independent Swiss family business with more than   46 years of experience in the information and communications technology market. R&M develops and manufactures passive cabling solutions for high-quality communication networks (Layer 1). The company contributes significantly to operational reliability and 
safety in voice, data and video transmission worldwide with its copper and fiber optic systems.

In 2009 R&M recorded sales of CHF 192 million. EBIT over the past five years has averaged 9.0 percent. R&M currently generates 75 percent of its sales abroad. 4.5 percent of sales are invested in research and development each year. R&M has about 600 employees.

The company was founded in 1964 and is wholly owned by the Reichle family. The second generation is now at the helm. Martin and Peter Reichle manage the dynamic company as CEO and COO, respectively, together with Martin Gasser (CFO) and Martin Rosatzin (CTO).
