Wetzikon, July 3, 2008
R&M Germany, a subsidiary of Wetzikon-based cable specialist Reichle & De-Massari AG (R&M), can look back on 25 years of successful operations. The parent company’s larg-est subsidiary, R&M Germany is a firm fixture in the premium segment of Germany’s networks sector, and – spurred on by the jubilee celebrations – continues to fight for pole position in the market. On June 5, 2008 the company celebrated its anniversary in style with customers and employees.
Established in 1983, R&M Germany is the senior of R&M’s subsidiaries celebrating anniversa-ries this year. Its tremendous success is reflected in its sales performance, with sales increases well in excess of 20 per cent over the past two years. The company posted sales of more than EUR 20 million in 2007. One of the company's success drivers is its proximity to the market: both the offices in Cologne/Gummersbach and the logistics center in Frankfurt are centrally lo-cated Together with 12 nationwide sales offices and about 250 certified partners, this ensures that customers receive rapid and flexible responses wherever they are in Germany. No corner of the Federal Republic is further than two hours’ away from one of R&M’s 34 personnel. A fur-ther success factor is the company's constant emphasis on tailoring its response techniques to meet the specific needs of the market, as well as its ability to identify customers' requirements at an early stage and optimally fulfill them. R&M Germany adopts the same policy as the rest of the R&M Group in its willingness to set itself such high standards.
R&M Germany, led by Gabriel Bogdan, bases its operations on four key drivers: market, organi-zation, positioning and products. The market driver is characterized by differentiated market and trend analyses, opportunity management, and precise identification and addressing of target groups. In terms of the organization, a key success factor is the highly competent team with its expert, communicative and proactive members. When it comes to positioning, the focus is on retaining independence and maintaining a market position as a self-reliant, midsized enterprise known for its systematic pricing policy and clear conditions. Product-wise, the emphasis is on traditional R&M attributes as success factors: innovative, modular system solutions benefiting from key quality, safety and convenience indicators, a high degree of flexibility, and exclusive advice, service and support.
Following Germany’s lead, R&M’s subsidiaries in Poland, Dubai, Hungary and Austria are all celebrating round-number anniversaries and looking back on highly successful years. All five companies have managed to successfully stake out their position in their markets and assume leading roles in their segments.
