Swiss cabling specialist Reichle & De-Massari (R&M)appointed a new General Manager for China. Daniel Zhang will succeed Sam Ho, who successfully directed the R&M Business in the Chinese market over the last 11 years.
R&M is expanding its market presence in China. The acquisition of Durack Intelligent Electric Co. Ltd., a premium manufacturer of enclosures for modular data centers for leading customers in the financial, governmental, educational, and colocation data center sectors at the beginning of 2019 was the first step. It enables the company to offer complete and leading solutions for the growing Data Center market. At the same time, R&M is setting up a state-of-the-art Fiber Optic and Copper Assembly factory to be operational in the second quarter of 2020.
R&M is very glad to announce that Daniel Zhang joined R&M as a General Manager for China with the task to integrate the two businesses and to drive for further growth. Daniel has been active in the Chinese Data Center industry for over 20 years with specific expertise in the power, cooling, enclosures as well as cabling market. He held different positions over the years such as product manager, operations director, country manager, and business development manager which makes him an ideal candidate.
