Responsibilities:
- Manages the local Procurement Department
- Manages the supply and development network within SE Europe
- Establishes and develops external partnerships in connection with the company’s supplier relationship strategy
- Manages suppliers in terms of cost, capacity, delivery time, and quality of delivery
- Builds relationships with new suppliers and develops new sources of supply
- Introduces and develops delivery policies and strategies
- Participates in the operational purchasing process – places and tracks purchase orders, materials, supplies, and services necessary for the proper functioning of the company
- Provides flow of documents and information to the department and other related departments to support day-to-day workflows
- Initiates projects to optimize and improve the effectiveness of operational and strategic procurement and processes through the Lean principles
- Ensures the development of the necessary competencies within the team
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management / Procurement / Logistics or other relevant
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the area of supply and purchase
- Experience in managing materials and import activities
- Extensive knowledge of logistics and procurement
- Specialist in the use of Microsoft Office and production ERP software (SAP)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German as a second language would be considered as an advantage
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills
- Project management skills
- A highly organized, proactive, and goal-oriented person
- Very good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Team management and delegation skills
- Ability to understand and handle cultural complexity
