Completely newly developed, state-of-the-art FM45 with metal housing, intuitive handling, robust and compact design. The R&M FM45 EL Cat.6A offers fast and easy termination. Just like the well-known EL module, it comes with a solid housing for a variety of clever field applications.
This RJ45 field-mountable plug with IDC contacts is perfectly suitable for PoE applications and carries our highly recognized PowerSafe seal. Hence, it is the first choice for classic LAN cabling or IoT.

Termination can be made with solid wires or stranded wires of AWG22 to AWG26 and overall cable diameters from 5 mm to 9 mm. Regardless of which cable type is preferred, shielded or unshielded is possible.
Our latch protector acts as a release lever in places that are difficult to access. It can be shortened or removed, if necessary.
Two differently colored clamping rings are used. They can be chosen according to the cable diameter inside the nut to ensure proper strain relief.
No matter where your access point is located, with our angled FM45 you will always find an appropriate fitting angle. It can be mounted in four positions.
The straight plug version is designed in as compact a way as possible and is just 46 mm in long in order to integrate neatly into the existing installation environment.
For a long product lifetime and to withstand the elements, this field-mountable plug comes with a durable zinc die-cast housing.
In terms of sustainability, we contribute to an environmentally-friendly product packaging and use recyclable paper for our new FM45 EL Cat.6A plug series. In addition, a product adhesive label on the product packaging was intentionally omitted.
The packing unit is reasonable, as we optimized the available space of a carton box for the distribution of this product.
