The big data explosion has pushed the development of such hyperscale data center campuses. Today, any of a variety of buildings on campus need to be connected with sufficient bandwidth. Multiple factors push the trend, all of which share a common driver: the need to transport, process and store the large quantities of data generated by industry, manufacturing, networking, and social applications.
