Reliable long-term termination
A sensitive area is the termination of the wires in plugs and connection modules. As the technology leader in insulation displacement connection (IDC), R&M has the most reliable termination technology at its disposal. Contrary to other widely used termination technologies, properly designed IDC connections will form a gas-tight and vibration proof contact to solid and stranded wire alike. As only manufacturer, R&M uses IDC contacts for factory assembled RJ45 patch cords as well.
