R&M, the globally active developer and provider of high-end infrastructure solutions for data and communications networks, has appointed Martina Dimmler as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Executive Board, effective November 1, 2022. She takes over from Patrick Steiner, who left the company at his own request at the end of July after eleven years.

Martina Dimmler has worked in the financial management and controlling of Swiss retail and industrial companies for 20 years. CEO Michel Riva welcomed her as a «dynamic senior finance executive». With her extensive management experience, she will support R&M in further developing the strategy of the sustainably growing family-owned business.

Most recently, Martina Dimmler was Head of Group Finance and Controlling and Deputy CFO at the Bucherer Group, the leading international retailer of luxury watches, jewelry, and gems. Prior to that, she held financial management positions at the Stock Exchange and Finance Group SIX in Zurich and at the mechanical engineering companies Saurer and Sulzer.

Martina Dimmler graduated from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration (HWZ) with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Controlling. This was followed by a degree at the University of Zurich as an Executive MBA. She completed additional education at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai and the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne.

«I am very much looking forward to the challenge as CFO of R&M and I appreciate the trust they place in me,» says Martina Dimmler. «I am also looking forward to taking R&M forward entrepreneurially, to driving the digital transformation forward, and to good cooperation at all levels.»
